I LOVE what I do and am so grateful to be able to share my passion for creating fun and beauty in life’s special moments with wonderful people like you! It is my joy to get to know new people and my privilege to be invited into an intimate part of their life to help them celebrate.

A Piece of My Heart

Well, a little about my hero, first. Growing up I learned from my mother to “never save the china for a special occasion,” to spend quality time with people you love, and that life is what you make it. She taught me that life goes by quickly and that it wouldn’t always be easy. That it’s important to take the time to create memories and celebrate whenever we have the opportunity, counting our blessings with a thankful heart. Mom thrived on making the ordinary, extraordinary. She lived every day to give joy until she went home to heaven in 2013. One of her mantra’s in life came from a favorite scripture, “A MERRY HEART doeth good like medicine…” It is in her memory and with this spirit that A Merry Heart Events was born to celebrate!

I have a passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces and atmospheres. I am obsessed with yummy smelling candles, pieces that are an interesting mix of old and new, everything sparkly, soul stirring music, delicious hand-crafted food, my amazing husband, Jesse and my kitty, HoneyBaby (though, not in that order- haha). My favorite hobbies are traveling, hanging out with my people, and outdoor adventures.

We cater to the delight of businesses and private party clients alike; large and small companies, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Our approach to success is to gain inspiration from our client and work collaboratively with expert industry professionals to create a smooth, organized, beautiful event.

. Experience

Jessica received her bachelor’s Degree in Business Management & Operations/Marketing from Washington State University in 2008. After years of informal event planning for friends and family, she started sharpening her skills professionally planning various events for various non-profits. Jessica opened her business in 2015 and brings an excellent variety of experience, coupled with a passion for innovative design and event building. As an event planner, she has worked on everything from large city events, fundraising dinners, grand openings, various milestone and company holiday parties. As a decorator, Jessica has decorated both homes and businesses for staging, holiday décor, and overall design.

. Pricing

At AMHE, we do our best to guide our clients to strike the perfect balance between vision and budget. Because no two clients are alike, we begin with a one-hour consultation to discuss project scope before offering a custom proposal. Our top priority is providing exceptional service, design and planning ON TIME and ON BUDGET, every time.

Initial One-Hour Consultation Fee is $75. Following our consultation, you will be presented with a customize proposal detailing an estimate of total project costs along with service and pricing options.
